This policy explains how CalculateMeasure.com handles information when you use the site. CalculateMeasure is currently designed as a static-first website: calculations run in your browser and do not require an account.

Calculator inputs

Values entered into the calculators are processed locally in your browser by JavaScript. CalculateMeasure does not intentionally send or store those calculator inputs in a user database.

Contact and suggestion forms

The current Contact, Suggest a Calculator, and Suggest a Fact or Figure forms prepare an email in your default email application. The form information is not stored by CalculateMeasure before you send the message. Once you send an email, the message is handled by your email provider and the recipient email service.

Server and hosting information

Like most websites, the web host and infrastructure providers may automatically process technical information needed to deliver the site, such as IP address, browser information, request timestamps, and requested URLs, and may retain server or security logs according to their own practices.

Third-party resources

The site may load resources from third-party providers. For example, the current design may load web fonts from Google. When your browser requests a third-party resource, that provider may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser request data.

Advertising and cookies

CalculateMeasure is intended to be supported by advertising. If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, advertising providers may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, frequency control, personalization where permitted, and related purposes.

Before advertising is enabled, this policy and the site's consent controls should be reviewed and updated for the advertising services actually in use. Where required, CalculateMeasure will use an appropriate consent mechanism for cookies and advertising technologies.

Your choices

Browser settings may allow you to block, delete, or limit cookies and other storage. If advertising services are enabled, additional advertising and consent controls may also be available through the relevant provider or consent interface.

CalculateMeasure may link to research, government, educational, or other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Children

CalculateMeasure is a general-purpose informational website and is not designed to collect personal information from children through accounts or profiles. If site features change in a way that involves additional data collection, this policy will be updated.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the website, hosting, analytics, advertising, or contact features change. The date at the top of the page identifies the latest posted version.
